How the GST Calculator Works

Enter an amount, choose a GST rate, and select whether GST should be added to a tax-exclusive amount or removed from a tax-inclusive amount.

Formula

Calculation formula For GST-exclusive: GST = Amount × Rate ÷ 100 and Total = Amount + GST. For GST-inclusive: Net Amount = Total ÷ (1 + Rate/100) and GST = Total − Net Amount.
